Explanation of Aphorism 105
Second point of business of true physician.

 Dr. Hahnemann says that second point of business of true physician is to acquire knowledge of instruments intended for cure that is to say his task is to investigate true pathogenetic power of medicines so that he can treat diseases as per natural law of cure.

Pathogenetic power of medicine is its disease producing power in an organism, by virtue of which it effects sensation and function of organism. When this is known law of similia can be applied in treatment by selecting the medicine which has proved its capability to produce similar symptoms in an apparently healthy human being.
