Aphorism 95 Explanation

Lesser accessory symptoms. 

Lesser accessory symptoms are those which are often characteristic of the case but patient overlooks it because - 

1. Patient is used to his long suffering, thinking it to be part of his daily life. 

2. While narrating his sufferings, he forgets to mention it as he feels it to be normal, being suffering from it for decades. 

3. He feels that these deviations have no connection with his principal malady. 

But, these are important symptoms as - 

1. These symptoms are often meaningful and characteristic. 

2. Useful in determining the remedy for the case.
