Aphorism 79 explanation
Chronic miasm Syphilis and Sycosis. 


During time of Dr. Hahnemann Syphilis alone to some extent was recognized as chronic miasmatic disease, which when uncured ceases with death. Even today's medical science believes it to be hereditary.

 But, Sycosis was not recognized as chronic miasmatic disease; although - 
1. It cannot be eradicated by vital force alone unless cured by proper anti-miasmatic treatment.
 2. Physicians imagined to cure it, by destroying the outgrowth of skin; but its persistent dyscrasia was over looked. 

So, Dr. Hahnemann says that Sycosis is equally a chronic miasmatic disease as Syphilis. 

▲ In this section we get criteria to be fulfilled by any disease be called miasmatic, it should-
1. Be hereditary in its effect. 
2. Have distinct characteristics of its own. 
3. Affects organism in its own peculiar way.
 4. Ineradicable by vital force alone without proper antimaismatic treatment .
5. If at all its manifestation is removed, it progresses to produce chronic dyscrasia.
