Introducing primary and secondary action.
Basis of antipathic and homoeopathic treatment can be explained on the basis of primary and secondary action. Primary and secondary action requires some explanation -
"Primary action" -
# It is the action of medicine on the vital force.
# Medicine acts upon the vitality and deranges it, causing certain alteration in health for longer or shorter period of time due to its primary action.
# In primary action medicine acts actively and vital force acts passively.
"Secondary action" -
# Reaction of vital force against the primary action is secondary action or counter action.
# It is a property of vital force to oppose any change.
# In secondary action vital force acts actively and medicine acts passively.
