Aphorism 52
Practicing one time homoeopathy and other time allopathy is criminal treason against divine homoeopathy.
Having laid down the foundation of homoeopathy in this section, Dr. Hahnemann for the first time uses the term 'Homoeopathic' instead of sy nptom similarity and says that there are basically two principal methods of cure -
1. Homoeopathy, based on- Accurate observation of nature. Careful experimentation. Pure experience.
2. Allopathy - which is contrary to homoeopathic mode.
Dr. Hahnemann further says that the person who does not know basic difference between two modes of treatment holds delusion that he could approach each other and it could be united, thereby he practices one time allopathy and other time homoeopathy as per pleasure of the patient- to which he calls 'criminal treason against divine homoeopathy.
