Aphorism 44
What happens when similar diseases meet together in an organism.
When two similar diseases meets together in an organism, they can neither repel one another, nor suspend one another so that the old one reappears when the new one has run its course and as little they can exist besides each other in the very organism forming double complex disease.
Two similar diseases do not remain equal in strength for a longer period of time as the accessory circumstances play their part, so among the two diseases one becomes stronger and other weaker, and stronger one cures the weaker. In case of therapeutics medicines employed have the upper hand as we can adjust its dose and potency as per will to make artificial disease stronger.
