You can use this medicine as a external application. I don't prefer it to be taken internally unless and until it is indicated as your similimum.

When to apply?
Usually at night before sleeping, firstly wash your face with Berberis Aquifolium Saop ( you will get this Saop from any Homoeopathic pharmacy) and then apply mother tincture of Berberis Aquifolium on your face mostly affected part and leave it uptill morning.

Should I take Berberis Aquifolium Q orally?
No, I don't prefer this, unless and until it is your similimum. Only apply it locally. 

In addition to medical treatments, there are also several lifestyle changes that can help to prevent and manage acne. These include washing the face twice a day with a gentle cleanser, avoiding picking or squeezing pimples, and avoiding oily or greasy cosmetics and hair products. And most importantly diet and exercise also plays important role.
